A tagged insertion into LOC100538116 (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/?term=100538116) was identiified in GBT0174 fish. However, linkage analysis PCR has shown that this insert doe not appear to be linked to the observed RFP pattern.

pr. 1 21/31 RFP+ some may possibly be anemic
pr. 2 20/30 RFP+ some may possibly be anemic
pr. 3 18/30 RFP+ some may possibly be anemic
pr. 4 22/30 RFP+ some may possibly be anemic
This line may have a phenotype in that some fish appear to be anemic. However it does not appear to be linked to red.
